The main achievement of the Association is to maintain the dignity of the profession and for it to be a reference in the Balearic Islands tourist market, but

What do I gain by joining?

  • Work legally, as established in Article 4, Law 5/2004, 20 December on the creation of the Official Balearic Islands Tourist Guide Association.

  • Have a direct relationship with over 235 members and colleagues, with whom you can share ideas, problems and work, for example.
  • Achieve lifelong learning through our training courses, lectures, seminars and visits.
  • Be informed at all times of any developments and changes, e.g. in opening times and reservation requirements, for the various city sights, caves, churches, monasteries and transportation.

  • Be informed about changes in national or European law.

  • Be advised on legal matters.

  • Original and photocopy of Tour Guide qualification.
  • Bank details.
  • A recent photograph.
  • Completed application form.
  • Payment of the joining fee.
  • Payment of the quarterly fee for the current year.
